About the Moon Phase Framed Print
A framed moon phase print turns a date into something you can hang. We calculate the moon for your moment and place, print it on heavyweight fine-art paper, and fit it by hand into a solid wood frame.
Black frames suit the midnight blue theme against a light wall; white keeps the ink black theme quiet; oak warms either one. The surface of the moon comes from NASA renders of the real lunar terrain, so it rewards a closer look.

Before You Order
Does it arrive ready to hang?
Yes. The print is mounted, glazed and the hanging hooks are already fitted to the back.
Which frame colour suits which theme?
Black frames the midnight blue theme with the most contrast. White suits the ink black theme in a minimal room. Oak is the softest choice for either.
How accurate is the moon?
The phase and lit fraction are calculated for your moment, and the moon is turned to the angle it had from your place. The surface comes from NASA renders of one 2026 lunar cycle, so the slight monthly wobble (libration) is not specific to your date.
Is the glazing real glass?
It is shatter-resistant acrylic: optically very close to glass, lighter on the wall, and far safer in shipping.
