About the Poster
The poster is the print on its own: your star map on heavyweight fine-art matte paper, with the framing left to you. That keeps the price down and makes it far easier to post overseas, and it lets you match the frame to the room rather than the other way round.
It ships rolled inside a rigid tube rather than folded. A fold leaves a crease that never comes out, whereas the tube takes the knocks of the journey and the print inside stays unmarked. It arrives rolled, with the light curl that comes of being rolled, and settles flat under a few heavy books overnight. Standard sizes mean an off-the-shelf frame will fit without custom cutting or a bespoke mount.

Before You Order
Will it arrive creased?
No — creases come from folding, and we never fold a print. It ships rolled in a rigid tube, so it will arrive rolled and hold a light curl when you open it. That relaxes out flat; see the next question. If a print does arrive damaged, we replace it.
How do I flatten it after unrolling?
Lay it face-up under a few heavy books overnight with a clean sheet between. Our guide to flattening a rolled poster covers three methods in more detail.
Will a shop-bought frame fit?
Yes — our sizes are chosen to match common off-the-shelf frame sizes, so you should not need custom framing or a bespoke mount.
Is the paper the same as the framed version?
Both are heavyweight fine-art matte, but the exact stock is not always identical — we use what suits each format. The star map itself is the same either way: same astronomy, same design, same colours. What you are really choosing between is a print you frame yourself and one that arrives mounted, glazed and ready to hang.
